 What makes us different?

Dare to be different bandWe are both qualified Life Coaches and Meditation teachers with a focus on living your life in a way that makes your heart sing. We both work as personal growth facilitators helping people all over the world to walk the talk of personal mastery and to transform the dysfunctional aspects of thier lives. We are both non-drinkers, non-smokers and we are not into drugs. We are professional, punctual and we would love to be a part of your special event, especially your wedding. We are very flexible with our pricing.  Simply put we do this because we love it! It is not something we are doing to earn a living, rather an activity we enjoy and would like to share with others.Being somewhat older and hopefully wiser than many hard partying younger bands we bring a certain maturity and respect to your event. As we help others around the world to live calmly, successfully and wisely so then that is the kind of presence we bring to your gathering. We love our music. We can provide music during the ceremony if you wish. Our repertoire is extensive and diverse.

Our dear friend Rupert is a world class virtuoso violinist and he is open to appearing with us (for an extra fee) at your special event to really add something really magical to your experience. Do come along and have a chat sometime, we would love to meet you and hope that we can help you to co-create that very special event.

Wedding bands are a great addition to the perfect wedding. Nothing beats having live music played at the reception, and a band can really improve the ambiance and vibe of the whole event.

So, the trick becomes sifting through all the wedding bands available to find one that meets your budget, music style and theme, and that can sometimes be a difficult choice.

Your first step should be sitting down as a couple and deciding what sorts of music you both like in common. Is there a particular band or music genre you both agree on? If so, and you feel it would be appropriate to have a wedding band that plays this style at your wedding, then you have narrowed down the field to a smaller number of players, which makes your job much easier.

Once you have both agreed upon a wedding band to play at your reception, you need to sit down with the band and discuss what songs you want them to play and perhaps even in which order some of them will need to be played. It's no good complaining AFTER the wedding that your band did not play what you like and when, if you did not take the time to give them explicit instructions. More......

Wedding band Perth

The majority of weddings in Australia are a civil ceremony performed by an Authorised Civil Celebrant. Municipal parks are popular followed by the reception venue itself, which may have its own garden or an attached secular wedding chapel. The choice of music reflects the comparatively informal and relaxed style of this unique form of wedding.

The choice of music reflects the couple's musical tastes and ranges from classical to pop. It is sometimes played by hired professionals or friends who are trained musicians but is mostly supplied on CD-ROM and played by the celebrant on his or her portable public address system.

Light music, middle-of-the-road or classical, is played while the guests are gathering but this changes to a piece chosen by the bride for her entrance. The Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel is the most popular piece. The Bridal Chorus and Wedding March are regarded as musical clichés and rarely heard.

Quieter pieces are played while the marriage certificates are signed in the presence of the guests. After signing the official Certificate of Marriage is presented to the couple. The guests then stand while the bridal party exits, either down the aisle or nearby in the park. During this a bright, loud, cheerful piece is played to set a triumphant note at the end of the ceremony.

How To Successfully Choose Your Wedding Songs And Music

Whether you choose a live band, a string quartet, a DJ or even do it yourself with an iPod  your musical choices will set the mood and the pace for your wedding day. Wedding songs are one of the elements of the wedding day remembered most by guests, so be sure to put your own stamp on the day through your choice of music for both the wedding ceremony and the reception.

The music you select for your wedding will help to create the right atmosphere for your big day. It is really crucial that you take time to select wedding music which best reflects your feelings, your personality and the theme of the wedding you want to create. After all you want your wedding to be remembered for the right reasons. more.....
